Salon des Refusés – 4:57

Early 2020, one week before the Coronavirus shutdown, me, Martin Baker and Jim Paras entered a 48-hour film contest in Modesto, California. We had 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a film of 5 minute or less. A showcase featured the “winners”, 40 teams, 30 or so finished, how the judging was done is totally unclear because organizers never explained what the criteria would be. Our film was rejected, this is our entry in the Salon des Refusés Modesto.
